In her role as a Board Director at the Vancouver Police Board, where she serves as the Chair of the Stakeholder and Public Engagement Committee, Comfort exemplifies tireless dedication to championing accountability, transparency, and community engagement in policing practices. With a distinguished background in social justice advocacy, Comfort has spearheaded transformative initiatives at organizations such as the MOSAIC Centre for Diversity and the Boys and Girls Club of Canada, where she has been instrumental in fostering inclusivity and equity. Her impact extends globally, as demonstrated by her leadership in empowering women-owned businesses across Africa to secure over $18 million in corporate contracts through the world's largest Supplier Diversity organization.
